Excitement is building: Parkview Randallia’s $55 million renovation continues<\/strong><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

(June 18, 2015) – The next phase of renovation at Parkview Hospital Randallia is underway as construction crews begin the hospital’s fa\u00c3\u00a7ade improvements. The building’s masonry improvement is one of many construction phases included in the $55 million renovation investment Parkview leaders announced in October of 2014.<\/p>\n

Cranes are in place to lift equipment and materials to the rooftop as the stone work begins. Visitors to the Randallia campus will notice barricades and the cranes located in three locations outside the hospital near Entrance 1, the Outpatient Therapy entrance and near the Emergency Department’s entrance. These zones (illustrated on the attached map) will not impede Parkview patient, family and visitor access to the facility or its services. The crane and barricades will be in place for approximately four weeks while the masonry work is completed.<\/p>\n

“Excitement is building. There is an extensive amount of work beginning on the exterior and interior of the facility and within a matter of months, we’ll really begin to see significant changes taking shape,” said Marlon Wardlow, vice president, operations, Parkview Hospital Randallia. “The masonry improvement now underway is not only the foundation of stability for the 62-year old building; it provides the underlying support necessary to enhance its safety, efficiency and services. Each phase of our $55 million master plan for renovation is designed and dedicated to meeting the future healthcare needs of our community.”<\/p>\n
