New signage <a href=\"https:\/\/aroundfortwayne.com\/news\/2008\/03\/12\/downtown-clarion-hotel-signage\/\">in the middle of March<\/a> announced the change.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.aroundfortwayne.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/08\/t60311.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Then, on <a href=\"https:\/\/aroundfortwayne.com\/news\/2008\/08\/30\/another-change-at-the-downtown-clarion-hotel\/\">August 30, 2008<\/a>, I reported that the sign had once again changed.  In fact, the sign had a vinyl pull-over placed over it which simply said, &#8220;Fort Wayne Inn&#8221;. \u00c2\u00a0 \u00c2\u00a0This had been the sign placed over the existing signage just after the sale of the Holiday Inn hotel. \u00c2\u00a0When I called the Hotel to inquire about the change, I was told the sign had been broken and that the Clarion people are very strict about such appearances.<\/p>\n<p>Well, guess what? \u00c2\u00a0A new sign has popped up at the former Holiday Inn, then Fort Wayne Inn, then Clarion Hotel, and then Fort Wayne Inn again.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><a title=\"Fort Wayne Hotel and Conference Center. Hmmmm, perhaps they&#8217;ll repaint the building to something more appropriate to the the new logo?  And is that supposed to be our three rivers?
