Foellinger Foundation Board approves approximately $2.9 million in grants to support Allen County nonprofits<\/strong><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

(March 20, 2015) – The Foellinger Foundation Board of Directors has approved grants totaling approximately $2.9 million to support youth-serving nonprofit organizations that provide services throughout Allen County.<\/p>\n

“The Foundation’s strategy is to support effective nonprofits that serve Allen County residents,” said Cheryl Taylor, Foundation President. “The grantees on the list reflect the Foundation’s emphasis on supporting strong nonprofits with strong board and staff leaders whose organizations make Allen County a better place to live.”<\/p>\n

Youth Development<\/strong><\/p>\n

$ 95,000 – Boys and Girls Club, one-year operating support<\/em>
\n 15,000 – Boy Scouts, one-year support for the Scoutreach Community Outreach program<\/em>
\n 17,000 – Crossroad Child and Family Services, one-year operating support<\/em>
\n 15,000 – Erin’s House for Grieving Children, one-year operating support<\/em>
\n$100,000 – Euell Wilson Center, two-year operating support<\/em>
\n 20,000 – Gateway Woods Family Services, one year support for the Prevention Preferred program<\/em>
\n 60,000 – Power House Youth Center, two-year operating support<\/em>
\n 50,000 – Salvation Army, one-year support for the Community Youth Center<\/em><\/p>\n
