Compared to the 2014 spring break season, flights at FWA are up 27 percent, which could lead to travel headaches for those who aren&#8217;t prepared.<\/p>\n<p>To better equip airport users, the Airport Authority would like to remind passengers that mobile boarding passes may be used for all airlines operating at FWA. To retrieve a mobile boarding pass, simply download the airline&#8217;s mobile app and take a screenshot of the boarding pass once a flight is available for check-in. Listed below are the official app names for FWA&#8217;s airlines:<\/p>\n<p>\u00e2\u20ac\u00a2\tAllegiant: Allegiant2Go<br \/>\n\u00e2\u20ac\u00a2\tAmerican Airlines: American<br \/>\n\u00e2\u20ac\u00a2\tDelta Air Lines: Fly Delta<br \/>\n\u00e2\u20ac\u00a2\tUnited Airlines: United<br \/>\n\u00e2\u20ac\u00a2\tUS Airways: US Airways<\/p>\n<p>Boarding passes may also be printed at home via an airline&#8217;s website to save time at the airport. Allegiant passengers are subject to a $5 printing fee should they choose to check-in and obtain their boarding pass at the airport.<\/p>\n<p>The check-in time for all airlines is 24 hours prior to departure for mobile device users and those printing their boarding pass at home. Those wishing to check-in at the airport may do so 90 minutes prior to departure for American\/US Airways, Delta, and United flights and two hours prior to departure for Allegiant flights. All passengers must be checked-in at least 30 minutes prior to departure to guarantee their seat on a flight.<\/p>\n<p>The weight limit per checked bag on American\/US Airways, Delta, and United is 50 pounds. Allegiant&#8217;s weight limit is 40 pounds. Bags weighing over these limits will be subject to additional fees. Passengers are also reminded that all items necessary for children (i.e. strollers, car seats, etc.) may be checked at no charge. Allegiant passengers are required to pay for each carry-on bag. This charge will be less if it is applied when tickets are purchased, rather than when a passenger arrives at the airport. The Airport Authority encourages travelers to include proper identification on all pieces of baggage.<\/p>\n<p>The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) requires all carry-on liquids be 3.4 ounces or less and placed in a single, one-quart plastic bag. That plastic bag should be made easily accessible, as it will need to be removed from the carry-on bag and screened separately. All passengers are permitted to bring one carry-on bag measuring 14&#8243; x 22&#8243; x 9&#8243; and one personal item such as a purse or backpack. The TSA also requires all passengers over 18 to show valid identification in order to travel. This includes any government-issued photo ID. A full list of permitted carry-on items and acceptable identification may be found at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tsa.gov\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">www.tsa.gov<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>To make the trip to the terminal easier, FWA offers complimentary shuttle service and baggage assistance to all passengers. To submit a pick-up request, visit www.FWAirport.com and select the &#8220;Skycaps\/Shuttles&#8221; link under the &#8220;For Passengers&#8221; tab or call the Airport Authority at least 12 hours in advance at 260-458-4017 to schedule a pick-up.<\/p>\n<p>The Airport Authority reminds passengers that the four airlines operating at FWA do not have local phone numbers at their ticket counters.
