Non-suspicious Death<\/strong><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Date\/Time of Incident<\/strong>: 10-18-2014 1:17pm<\/p>\n

Location of Incident<\/strong>: Goshen Rd. and Harris Rd., southeast of the intersection<\/p>\n

Deceased<\/strong>: Male<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

On October 18, 2014, at 1:17pm, the Fort Wayne Police Department responded to a report of a person down southeast of the intersection of Goshen Rd. and Harris Rd. Officers arrived and located a person down in a small ditch on the north side of the road. Medics pronounced the person deceased.<\/p>\n

A passerby was walking down the road and noticed the body in the ditch, and called police.<\/p>\n

Because of the location of the body down in the ditch, it was not initially apparent what had happened to the person. Per standard protocol, a crime scene unit was requested to help document the scene.<\/p>\n

Upon further investigation with the assistance of the Allen County Coroner’s Office, this does not appear to be a suspicious death, as no foul play is suspected.<\/p>\n

Therefore, there is nothing further to be released.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
