Mad Ants to Hold Open Tryouts in Fort Wayne<\/strong><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

(October 14, 2014) – The Fort Wayne Mad Ants announced today that they will hold open tryouts on October 18th and 19th in Fort Wayne for the 2014-15 NBA Development League season. The open tryout will be held at the McMillen Park Community Center and will be the final tryout held by the Mad Ants leading up to the 2014-15 season. <\/p>\n

The first day of the Fort Wayne tryout will begin on Saturday, October 18th at 11:00 a.m. at the McMillen Park Community Center located at 3901 Abbott Street, Fort Wayne, Indiana 46806. Check-in will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday and the tryout will begin promptly at 11:00 a.m. <\/p>\n

The Mad Ants local player tryouts offer athletes an opportunity to showcase their talents in front of the Fort Wayne Mad Ants’ coaching staff. Players will compete to earn an invitation to the team’s training camp, which will begin in early November. <\/p>\n

Players who are interested in trying out for the Mad Ants on October 18th in Fort Wayne should submit the official registration and release forms, in addition to a $150 non-refundable fee to the Mad Ants office by Thursday, October 16th. The registration fee is $200 for all forms received after Thursday, October 16th (pre-registration is not required and athletes may register on the morning of the tryout). Payments must be made by money order or cashier’s check. Application forms are available on the Mad Ants’ website at www.fortwaynehoops.com<\/a>.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
