Drug Raid N\/E Quadrant<\/strong><\/p>\n

(October 1, 2014) – In the early afternoon of October 1st members of the Fort Wayne Police Department Emergency Services Team along with the Vice and Narcotics Bureau served a search warrant at 1101 Elmwood Avenue in Fort Wayne, IN.<\/p>\n

There were 2 occupants inside the dwelling when the warrant was served, Carrie Helgesen, age 22 and a one year old child. Found inside the residence was approx. 2 \u00c2\u00bd pounds of marijuana and large amount of concentrated THC known on the street as “wax” also found were numerous items of paraphernalia. A well behaved Boxer was also in the residence and was taken by the Fort Wayne Animal Control Unit that made the scene.<\/p>\n

As the search warrant was being completed the other resident at 1101 Elmwood Avenue arrived home, Tyler Shea age 25 was placed under arrest.<\/p>\n
