Mad Ants Announce 2014-15 Schedule<\/strong><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

(September 9, 2014) – The Fort Wayne Mad Ants, presented by Lutheran Health Network, will tip off their eighth season in the NBA Development League on Saturday, November 15 at 7:30 p.m. when they host the Sioux Falls Skyforce at the Allen County War Memorial Coliseum. <\/p>\n

The Mad Ants return to action this November following a historic 2013-14 season, in which they finished the regular season with a 36-14 record (the best record in the league), secured the Eastern Division title and swept the playoffs to become the 2014 NBA D-League Champions. The home opener versus the Skyforce will be the first of 50 regular season games for the Mad Ants. The Ants will play 15 of their 24 home games on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays and fans will get to see 12 different teams take the court at the Memorial Coliseum.<\/p>\n

The 2014-15 season will once again feature the NBA D-League Showcase, which will take place from January 15 -19. The location and specific schedule of the event will be announced at a later date. The NBA D-League All-Star Game will be played in New York City in conjunction with NBA All-Star 2015 activities.<\/p>\n

This year, the NBA D-League will feature two conferences, Eastern and Western. The Eastern Conference consists of two divisions, the Atlantic Division and the Central Division. The Atlantic Division includes the Maine Red Claws, Westchester Knicks, Delaware 87ers, Erie BayHawks and Canton Charge. The Central Division is comprised of the Fort Wayne Mad Ants, Grand Rapids Drive, Sioux Falls Skyforce and Iowa Energy. The Western Conference consists of the Southwest Division and the West Division. The Texas Legends, Rio Grande Valley Vipers, Austin Toros and Oklahoma City (formerly the Tulsa 66ers) make up the Southwest Division and the Bakersfield Jam, Idaho Stampede, Reno Bighorns, Santa Cruz Warriors and L.A. D-Fenders complete the West Division.<\/p>\n
