THIS INCREASED MOISTURE WILL COMBINE WITH A SERIES OF UPPER LEVEL DISTURBANCES AND COLD FRONTAL BOUNDARY TO PRODUCE THE POTENTIAL OF SOME LOCALLY HEAVY RAINFALL&#8230;MAINLY THIS AFTERNOON INTO THIS EVENING.<\/p>\n<p>&#8230;FLASH FLOOD WATCH IN EFFECT FROM 2 PM EDT THIS AFTERNOON THROUGH THIS EVENING&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN NORTHERN INDIANA HAS ISSUED A <\/p>\n<p>* FLASH FLOOD WATCH FOR PORTIONS OF NORTHERN INDIANA AND   NORTHWEST OHIO&#8230;INCLUDING THE FOLLOWING AREAS&#8230;IN NORTHERN   INDIANA&#8230;ADAMS&#8230;ALLEN IN&#8230;BLACKFORD&#8230;CASS IN&#8230;DE KALB&#8230;  GRANT&#8230;HUNTINGTON&#8230;JAY&#8230;LAGRANGE&#8230;MIAMI&#8230;NOBLE&#8230;STEUBEN&#8230;WABASH&#8230;WELLS AND WHITLEY. IN NORTHWEST OHIO&#8230;  ALLEN OH&#8230;DEFIANCE&#8230;FULTON OH&#8230;HENRY&#8230;PAULDING&#8230;PUTNAM&#8230;VAN WERT AND WILLIAMS.<\/p>\n<p>* FROM 2 PM EDT THIS AFTERNOON THROUGH THIS EVENING<\/p>\n<p>* SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL OVERSPREAD THE REGION THIS MORNING THROUGH MIDDAY&#8230;AND MAY BECOME HEAVY AT TIMES FROM EARLY AFTERNOON THROUGH LATE EVENING. RAINFALL AMOUNTS OF 1 TO 3 INCHES ARE EXPECTED ACROSS THE AREA&#8230;WITH LOCALIZED AMOUNTS IN THE HEAVIER SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS IN EXCESS OF 4 INCHES POSSIBLE.<\/p>\n<p>* FLASH FLOODING MAY CAUSE ROADS TO BE CLOSED AND IMPASSABLE. RISES ON AREA RIVERS ARE ALSO POSSIBLE.<\/p>\n<p>PRECAUTIONARY\/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>A FLASH FLOOD WATCH MEANS THAT CONDITIONS MAY DEVELOP THAT LEAD TO FLASH FLOODING.
