Shooting Investigation<\/strong><\/p>\n

Date\/Time of Incident<\/strong>:\t09-08-2014, 10:22 PM<\/p>\n

Location of Incident<\/strong>: 2100 Eby Ave<\/p>\n

Victim<\/strong>: Adult Male Deceased<\/p>\n

On Monday September 8, 2014 at approximately 10:22 PM the Fort Wayne Police Department responded to the 2100 block of Eby Avenue in reference to a shooting investigation. As officers and paramedics arrived on the scene, they located a male victim inside a vehicle that was parked in the middle of the street suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. Paramedics provided medical attention to the victim before transporting him to a local hospital in critical condition. The victim was pronounced dead a short time after arriving at the hospital. The name of the victim and the exact cause and manner of death will be released at a later time by the Allen County Coroners Office.<\/p>\n

Investigators were continuing to canvass the area for evidence and were speaking with neighbors who may have witnessed the incident. There is no suspect information at this time and no arrests have been made. Anyone who may have information about this incident is asked to contact the Fort Wayne Police Department. <\/p>\n

This incident remains under investigation by the Fort Wayne Police Department, Allen County Coroners Office, and the Allen County Prosecutors Office.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
