Ride behind the “World’s Most Famous Steam Locomotive” Southern Pacific Daylight No. 4449 from Portland, OR to Durand, MI or any segment in between. Tickets and complete schedule are now posted online<\/span>.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

You can ride the rails in luxury and be pampered in a privately owned business railcar or high above the rails in one of several dome cars. Many cars are offering private chefs and overnight sleeper service.<\/p>\n

Luxury travel not in your budget but you still want to ride this historic train? Purchase one of several day segments ranging from $114.00 and up. You will want to order your tickets early as they are expected to sell out quickly as NO passenger seats have EVER been sold behind the “Daylight” this far East! This could be a once in a lifetime experience.<\/p>\n

All aboard as the train departs Portland, OR for TrainFestival 2009 on July 3 and travels through Spokane, Fargo, Minneapolis, Milwaukee, Chicago and Durand. A complete schedule of the train is available on the website.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
