of those days . . ."},"content":{"rendered":"<p>. . . when I&#8217;m glad I carry a camera with me.\u00c2\u00a0 I spent the afternoon taking photographs of various subjects in the downtown area.\u00c2\u00a0 At one point, while driving by the Grand Wayne Center, I noticed a white car trimmed in green parked where law enforcement usually parks.\u00c2\u00a0 The car was labeled as a US Border Patrol car.\u00c2\u00a0 By the time I could get around the block and walk to the area, the car was gone.\u00c2\u00a0 Never saw one of those in Fort Wayne before &#8211; especially at something like the Home Show.<\/p>\n<p><a name=\"Clinton\">On Fairfield Avenue, I noticed a few Hillary Clinton signs<\/a> in the windows of the International Market at the Southwest corner of Fairfield and Taylor Avenues.\u00c2\u00a0 I snapped a couple of photographs and then headed downtown to take some photos at the Harrison Square project.\u00c2\u00a0 While there, I was accosted by a driver asking to see my identification.\u00c2\u00a0 Lo and behold, it was Mitch Harper.\u00c2\u00a0 He asked if I&#8217;d seen the possible\u00c2\u00a0new Clinton Headquarters.\u00c2\u00a0 He&#8217;d heard\u00c2\u00a0that it was on Fairfield\u00c2\u00a0and had\u00c2\u00a0taken photos.\u00c2\u00a0 So, I think it&#8217;s confirmed &#8211; especially with the NO PRESS sign on the front door.\u00c2\u00a0 The Clinton sign is autographed by Indiana Senator Evan Bayh.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.aroundfortwayne.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/03\/48123.jpg\" alt=\"Hillary Clinton campaign signs on the front door\" \/><\/p>\n<p align=\"center\">On Main Street, I spotted Popeye out for an afternoon walk.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><a title=\"Popeye out for a walk\" rel=\"lightbox[popeye]\" alt=\"\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><a title=\"Popeye out for a walk\" rel=\"lightbox[popeye]\" href=\"https:\/\/aroundfortwayne.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/03\/48167.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/aroundfortwayne.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/03\/t48167.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p align=\"center\">Sauntered down to the Barack Obama Campaign Headquarters, which opened this morning.\u00c2\u00a0 A very colorful building indeed!<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.aroundfortwayne.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/03\/48128.jpg\" alt=\"Barack Obama Campaign Headquarters\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">Since I missed the photo of the US Border Patrol car, and have probably ticked off Popeye, I&#8217;ll go for broke.\u00c2\u00a0 Here&#8217;s a photo I took on January 17, 2008.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><a
