Student string programs perform together<\/strong><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

(May 29, 2014) – Students from several Fort Wayne Community Schools will participate in the Exploration of Music through Orchestra concert at 7:30 p.m., Friday, May 30, at South Side High School. This concert started as an endeavor between Believe in a Dream (BIAD) and the concert orchestras from Northrop and Snider four years ago as a way to get string players together, raise money and increase awareness for orchestra programs. The following year, it developed to include Jefferson and Lane middle schools’ string programs. Last year, Memorial Park Middle School joined the program, as well as members of North Side and South Side bands. This year, students from 13 schools in Fort Wayne are participating. Tickets are available for purchase at www.biadinc.org<\/a>.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
