Over $102,000 raised for Let’s Give Allen County<\/strong>
\nYoung Leaders of Northeast Indiana (YLNI) announces statistics for donations<\/em><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

(May 15, 2014) – Let’s Give Allen County was held Tuesday, May 6 as part of Give Local America, a celebration of 100 years of community foundations throughout the United States. Locally, Let’s Give Allen County raised $102,159. Give Local America raised $50 million in 24 hours.<\/p>\n

YLNI helped the Community Foundation of Greater Fort Wayne determine the five local nonprofits who would be the recipients of Let’s Give Allen County. YLNI targeted its network using a task force of volunteers, led by Heidi Colone.<\/p>\n

“YLNI was honored to be chosen to assist the Community Foundation with this challenge,” Colone said. “We reached out to our network to help encourage donations from a new generation of citizens.”<\/p>\n
