The National Weather Service’s weather story for December 11, 2013:<\/p>\n

Snowy morning commute followed by cold night<\/strong><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

(December 11, 2013) – A low pressure system will move across the region this morning and bring a light blanket of snow to much of the area. Snow accumulations of 1 to 4 inches will be possible, mainly north of the highway 30 corridor. The heaviest amounts are expected north of the toll road across far northern Indiana and southwest lower Michigan. Be extra cautious driving this morning, as roads may become slick. <\/p>\n

A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect until 1pm EST for our far northwestern counties. <\/p>\n

Snow chances will diminish this afternoon, although winds will pick up, possibly creating hazardous driving conditions once again this afternoon. Temperatures will remain cold, with highs today only reaching the lower to middle 20s. Tonight will be very cold as low temperatures fall below zero were skies clear and dip into the single digits above zero elsewhere. <\/p>\n
