This will bring increasing chances for showers and a few thunderstorms, mainly tonight across the area. An isolated strong storm is possible overnight. However, the main threat for severe thunderstorms remains focused on Sunday along and ahead of a cold front. Scattered showers and thunderstorms will be possible prior to the front&#8217;s arrival with the strongest storms potentially becoming severe with large hail, damaging winds and isolated tornadoes. Along the cold front, a line of thunderstorms is expected to develop and race east from mid Sunday afternoon into early Sunday evening.
