News release from the Fort Wayne Police Department:<\/p>\n

Update: Death Investigation – 2700 Millbrook Drive<\/strong><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

A large amount of narcotics was discovered at the scene of the investigation, and it is believed at this time that this incident is drug-related. Detectives have yet to identify a third person, a male, who was seen fleeing the apartment home. His role in this incident remains under investigation.<\/p>\n

The female victim was in a neighboring apartment when shots were fired. She was struck in the hand by a projectile that came through her apartment wall. She was listed in fair condition at the scene.<\/p>\n

Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact Crime Stoppers at 260 436-STOP [7867]. This is an ongoing investigation with the Fort Wayne Police Department, the Allen County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office, and the Allen County Coroner’s office. There is nothing further at this time.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
