Photo taken March 5, 2009.\" rel=\"lightbox[half]\" href=\"https:\/\/www.aroundfortwayne.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/03\/72830.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.aroundfortwayne.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/03\/t72830.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>WANE-15 is reporting that the financing for the Courtyard by Marriott Hotel is <span class=\"removed_link\" title=\"https:\/\/www.wane.com\/dpp\/news\/local_wane_harrison_square_hotel_update_200903231514\">over half-way completed<\/span>:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>[&#8230;] Matt Frankiewicz, Director of Development for White Lodging, said Centier Bank has committed to more than half of the funding for the project.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Centier Bank is now working to bring in other lenders for the remainder of the funding.<\/p>\n<p><em>The future of the hotel had been in question because a ground breaking for the facility had not yet taken place.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>[<strong>blogmaster&#8217;s note<\/strong>: \u00c2\u00a0I think the above sentence needs to be checked &#8211; the future has been in question because of financing issues, not a ground breaking. \u00c2\u00a0If it were that simple, it would have been done a year ago.]<\/p>\n<p>[&#8230;] Frankewicz said they hope to have the rest of the money secure within 3 to 4 weeks and that the slump in the economy coupled with the credit crunch has just come at a very bad time.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>According to it&#8217;s website, Centier Bank has locations all around <a href=\"https:\/\/www.centier.com\/locations\/default.asp\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Northwest Indiana<\/a>, with a loan production office at\u00c2\u00a09921 Dupont Circle Drive West &#8211; Suite 110. \u00c2\u00a0A search of the latest listing of released TARP funds does not list Centier Bank as having received any funds.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><a title=\"Artist&#039;s rendering of the new Courtyard by Marriott, part of Harrison Square.
