SNOW&#8230;INITIALLY LIGHT&#8230;WILL OVERSPREAD THE AREA FROM SOUTHWEST TO NORTHEAST SUNDAY MORNING AND CONTINUE THROUGH LATE SUNDAY NIGHT BEFORE DIMINISHING EARLY MONDAY AFTERNOON. THE HEAVIEST SNOWFALL IS EXPECTED SUNDAY EVENING INTO SUNDAY NIGHT. SIGNIFICANT SNOW ACCUMULATIONS IN\u00c2\u00a0EXCESS OF 6 INCHES ARE POSSIBLE ACROSS NORTHERN INDIANA AND NORTHWEST OHIO. HOWEVER&#8230;THIS LATE SEASON STORM IS STILL IN EARLY DEVELOPMENT&#8230;AND SOME UNCERTAINTY REMAINS AS TO THE EXACT TRACK AND LOCATION OF THE HEAVIEST BAND OF SNOW. AT PRESENT THE HEAVIEST SNOW IS PROJECTED TO CUT A SWATH THROUGH CENTRAL INDIANA. LOCATIONS ALONG AND SOUTH OF A LINE FROM MONTICELLO TO WABASH TO DECATUR&#8230;TO LIMA&#8230;HAVE THE GREATEST LIKELIHOOD TO RECEIVE THE MOST SNOW WITH UPWARDS OF 9 INCHES OF HEAVY&#8230;WET SNOWFALL POSSIBLE. CONTINUE TO MONITOR THE LATEST FORECASTS FOR UPDATES.<\/p>\n<p>&#8230;WINTER STORM WATCH IN EFFECT FROM SUNDAY MORNING THROUGH MONDAY AFTERNOON&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN NORTHERN INDIANA HAS ISSUED A WINTER STORM WATCH&#8230;WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM SUNDAY MORNING THROUGH MONDAY AFTERNOON.<\/p>\n<p>HAZARDOUS WEATHER&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>* TIMING&#8230;SNOW WILL INCREASE IN COVERAGE AND INTENSITY DURING THE DAY SUNDAY WITH THE HEAVIEST SNOW EXPECTED SUNDAY EVENING INTO EARLY SUNDAY NIGHT. SNOW WILL DECREASE IN INTENSITY MONDAY MORNING&#8230;BUT ADDITIONAL LIGHT ACCUMULATIONS ARE POSSIBLE.<\/p>\n<p>* SNOW ACCUMULATIONS&#8230;STORM TOTAL SNOW ACCUMULATIONS OF 4 TO 8 INCHES ARE POSSIBLE BY EARLY MONDAY AFTERNOON.<\/p>\n<p>IMPACTS&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>* PERIODS OF MODERATE TO HEAVY SNOW WILL RESULT IN SNOW COVERED ROADS AND HAZARDOUS TRAVEL CONDITIONS.<\/p>\n<p>* THE SNOW IS ANTICIPATED TO BE WET AND HEAVY. SHOVELING COULD POSE A HEALTH HAZARD.<\/p>\n<p>PRECAUTIONARY\/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>A WINTER STORM WATCH MEANS THERE IS A POTENTIAL FOR SIGNIFICANT SNOW&#8230;SLEET&#8230;OR ICE ACCUMULATIONS THAT MAY IMPACT TRAVEL.
