City crews are constructing temporary clay dikes along Clinton Street near the Spy Run Creek.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>After the dikes are constructed, crews will pump down the water. When it reopens, Clinton will be down to a single lane. Drivers should find alternate routes.<\/p>\n<p>Southbound truck traffic is being rerouted from Lima and Coldwater to Coliseum Boulevard and then East Washington Boulevard to enter downtown. The Indiana Department of Transportation is posting detour signs at these intersections.<\/p>\n<p>Alternate routes for local traffic to downtown from the north side of town include North Anthony Boulevard, Wells Street including Goshen to State to Wells, Crescent Avenue to Lake Avenue and Hillegas to Jefferson.<\/p>\n<p>Drivers should remember that State from Wells to Spy Run and Sherman Boulevard just north of the St. Marys River are closed.<\/p>\n<p>Road closure updates:<\/p>\n<p>The City of Fort Wayne has closed the following roadways for high water:<br \/>\n\u00c2\u00b7        Thieme at Berry<br \/>\n\u00c2\u00b7        Taylor from Portage to Brooklyn<br \/>\n\u00c2\u00b7        Freeman from Portage to Covington<br \/>\n\u00c2\u00b7        State Boulevard from Wells to Spy Run (open to eastbound traffic from Clinton to Spy Run)<br \/>\n\u00c2\u00b7        Tillman at Calhoun<br \/>\n\u00c2\u00b7        North River between Maysville and Landin<br \/>\n\u00c2\u00b7        Smith Road between Engle and Covington<br \/>\n\u00c2\u00b7        Sherman Boulevard between Burgess and High<br \/>\n\u00c2\u00b7        Catalpa from Jefferson to Taylor<br \/>\n\u00c2\u00b7        Pauline from Hale to Taylor<br \/>\n\u00c2\u00b7        State from Clinton to Wells<br \/>\n\u00c2\u00b7        4th Street from Clinton to Spy Run<br \/>\n\u00c2\u00b7        Harry Baals Drive from Coliseum to Parnell<br \/>\n\u00c2\u00b7        Winchester from Bluffton to Airport Expressway (local traffic only)<\/p>\n<p>Drivers are encouraged to use alternative routes to avoid these areas until further notice.
