I&M restoration update<\/strong><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

As of 6 a.m. Saturday, July 7, crews are working to restore power to an estimated 800 customers in Allen County near Fort Wayne, Indiana. This is down from an estimated 78,000 customers affected by the storm in the area on June 29 and another 10,000 who had service interrupted after a second storm on July 5. Power restoration in Allen County from the June 29 storm was about 99% complete when the second storm moved through around 8 p.m. on July 5. I&M estimates that it could be late Sunday night to fully complete the restoration of electric service to customers affected by the storms.<\/p>\n

The June 29 storm interrupted service for an estimated total of 118,000 I&M customers in both states.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
