An overnight shelter is also being provided by the American Red Cross at the First Assembly of God Church on Washington Center Road. Approximately 400 people will be allowed into Northside and McMillen pools at one time; Memorial Pool will only hold 200.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Splash Pads<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Additionally, the City&#8217;s free splash pads have extended hours to accommodate residents during the heat wave. Click on the link &#8220;Report Damage from Severe Weather June 29, 2012&#8221;, in the middle of the page.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Debris Drop-off\/Pick-up<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>For immediate disposal, residents are encouraged to take debris to one of four drop off sites:<\/p>\n<p>[list type=&#8221;black&#8221;]<br \/>\n[li]Parking Lot at Swinney Park Pool[\/li]<br \/>\n[li]Parking Lot at the Conklin Pavilion at Shoaff Park[\/li]<br \/>\n[li]Tillman Dump, which is west of the park entrance on Tillman Road[\/li]<br \/>\n[li]City Biosolids Facility on Lake Avenue near Maplecrest Road (July 4, 8 a.m.-6 p.m.)[\/li]<br \/>\n[\/list]<\/p>\n<p>Curbside pickup will take place for several weeks. Curbside debris pick-up is not part of regular residential garbage pick-up. Crews from the Street and Parks departments along with contracted tree companies will pick up curbside debris. The debris should be left at the curb, but not in the street for collection. Residents should not place the debris in the ally.<\/p>\n<p>A color-coded map is posted <span class=\"removed_link\" title=\"https:\/\/www.aroundfortwayne.com\/main\/index.php\/weblinksmenu\/68-government\/57-city-of-fort-wayne.html\">on the City&#8217;s website<\/span>, showing residents the status of debris collection in their area.
