In response, the City&#8217;s free splash pads will be open 9 am &#8211; 9 pm beginning Thursday, consistent with past hours of operation. Robert E. Meyers Park will continue to be open to the public 9 am &#8211; 11 pm on days without scheduled events. The Parks &amp; Recreation Department, along with City Utilities, will monitor water usage to adjust the operational schedule if needed.<\/p>\n<p>Splash pads are touch activated and designed to optimize water use. If the splash pad is not in use, the water will not turn on, or remain on. To turn the water on, look for a short pole (approx. 3 ft. tall) with a plastic dome top located within the play area. Place your hands on the dome for a few seconds. The water will appear shortly and run for several minutes. When the water stops, repeat the procedure. The splash pad at Robert E. Meyers Park is foot activated. Look for the touch pad on the ground at the east side of the splash pad.<\/p>\n<p>Splash pads are located at the following parks:<\/p>\n<p>[list type=&#8221;green&#8221;]<br \/>\n[li]Buckner Park<\/strong>, 6114 Bass Road[\/li]<br \/>\n[li]McCormick Park, 2300 Raymond &amp; Holly[\/li]<br \/>\n[li]Memorial Park, 2301 Maumee &amp; Glasgow[\/li]<br \/>\n[li]Robert E.
