Ivy Tech Community College announces faculty promotions<\/strong><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

(Indianapolis) – Ivy Tech Community College has promoted 146 faculty across Indiana to the rank of Professor, Associate Professor or Assistant Professor.<\/p>\n

Faculty members throughout the state make application and go through a formal review and evaluation process. Faculty seeking promotion must meet certain expectations leading up to the next higher rank including length of employment and academic credentials.<\/p>\n

“Our students’ success would not be possible without the hard work of our dedicated faculty,” said Thomas J. Snyder, President of Ivy Tech Community College. “Their commitment to personal attention means that every student has the chance to learn, contribute and thrive. Our faculty have dedicated their careers to serving our students, and we are pleased to recognize our faculty each year for their tremendous contributions.”<\/p>\n
