Photo taken March 5, 2009.\" rel=\"lightbox\" href=\"https:\/\/www.aroundfortwayne.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/03\/72830.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.aroundfortwayne.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/03\/t72830.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>An article by Ben Lanka in <span class=\"removed_link\" title=\"https:\/\/www.journalgazette.net\/article\/20090305\/LOCAL\/303059957\/-1\/LOCAL11\">today&#8217;s Journal Gazette<\/span>, indicates that construction on the downtown Courtyard by Marriott Hotel might begin soon. \u00c2\u00a0This Hotel is the linchpin of the Harrison Square project and has been delayed for months. \u00c2\u00a0Some selections from the article:<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<blockquote><p><strong>Harrison hotel inching forward<\/strong><br \/>\n<em>Contractor says it has financing for construction<\/em><\/p>\n<p>The building permit acquired by developer White Lodging for the $20 million downtown Courtyard by Marriott was set to expire today. But Dave Fuller, Allen County building commissioner, indicated there might be some progress on the project soon.<\/p>\n<p>His office was contacted Wednesday by Sheil [sic] Sexton of Indianapolis, the contractor in charge of building the hotel.
