{"id":303,"date":"2008-02-21T23:35:59","date_gmt":"2008-02-22T04:35:59","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.aroundfortwayne.com\/news\/?p=303"},"modified":"2008-02-21T23:35:59","modified_gmt":"2008-02-22T04:35:59","slug":"harrison-square-open-house-2212008","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/aroundfortwayne.com\/news\/2008\/02\/21\/harrison-square-open-house-2212008\/","title":{"rendered":"Harrison Square Open House &#8211; 2\/21\/2008"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>An Open House for Harrison Square was held at the Grand Wayne Center tonight.\u00c2\u00a0 There were about 125 people in attendance including many representatives from the developers of the project.\u00c2\u00a0 City officials were non-existence with the exception\u00c2\u00a0of Greg Leatherman and one of the City&#8217;s PIOs.\u00c2\u00a0 A short program was given with Mike Nutter, General Manager of the Fort Wayne Wizards baseball team\u00c2\u00a0introducing Jason Freier.\u00c2\u00a0 Mr. Freier is the owner of Hardball Capital which owns the Wizards and is building the Retail\/Condo portion of the project.\u00c2\u00a0 He spoke briefly, guiding us through the updated fly-throughs.\u00c2\u00a0 (The fly-through is available at <span class=\"removed_link\" title=\"https:\/\/www.indianasnewscenter.com\/news\/local\/15814137.html\">Indiana New Center<\/span>.)\u00c2\u00a0 He then introduced Scott Travis of White Lodging Services who spoke briefly about the Courtyard by Marriott Hotel to be built at the Northwest corner of the Harrison Street and Jefferson Boulevard intersection.\u00c2\u00a0 There will be a Champions Restaurant\/Sports\u00c2\u00a0Bar to be built on the ground floor of the new hotel\u00c2\u00a0in the Northeast corner of the building.\u00c2\u00a0 This is not to be confused with the\u00c2\u00a0Champs that has been talked about in The Harrison\u00c2\u00a0condo\/retail building.\u00c2\u00a0 Mr. Freier concluded the program by asking for input from the audience members about different seating styles, types of brick to be used and other interior components.<\/p>\n<h3>Related Images:<\/h3><div class=\"ngg-related-gallery\">\n\t\t\t<a href=\"https:\/\/aroundfortwayne.com\/news\/wp-content\/gallery\/fw-redevelopment\/70496.jpg\"\n\t\t\ttitle=\"Jim Irwin, Barry Real Estate, leads a tour of Redevelopment Authority and Commission members around the Parkview Field.
