IPFW Helps Celebrate Annual Great American Smoke Out<\/strong><\/p>\n

(November 15, 2011) – The American Cancer Society’s 36th Annual Great American Smokeout\u00c2\u00ae is Thursday, November 17, and Indiana University-Purdue University Fort Wayne (IPFW) is hosting its own Stop Smoking block party from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on the first floor of
\nKettler Hall. Judy Tillapaugh, director of IPFW’s health and wellness programs, said, “This is the perfect day to not use tobacco and make a plan to quit smoking for good. Come pledge to support tobacco-free and substance-free living! An estimated 46 million people in America still smoke. The Great American Smokeout\u00c2\u00ae encourages smokers to commit to not smoking for one day and start thinking about making a long-term plan to quit smoking for good.”<\/p>\n
