Fort Wayne’s newest innovation is finally available to the public. The soon-to-be legendary Buffalo Claws\u00c2\u00ae, made by Uncle Eddies, LLC, a locally owned and operated company, has made its taste bud scintillating product available to the public at five local bars, restaurants, and catering services, with further expansion to come.<\/p>\n

Buffalo Claws\u00c2\u00ae are an exciting new revolution in the world of appetizers and snack foods! Buffalo Claws\u00c2\u00ae are a perfect marriage of two of everybody’s favorite foods: a jumbo chicken wing stuffed with an extra-large shrimp in matrimonial bliss, designed to satisfy the most discerning of taste buds! Buffalo Claws\u00c2\u00ae are available plain or smothered in homemade BBQ and Cajun Sauces, both mild and medium, prepared with a patent pending insertion tool that creates this unique food sensation.<\/p>\n

Uncle Eddie’s, LLC, founded by Fort Wayne resident Lee Golani, is headquartered at the Northeast Indiana Innovation Center in Fort Wayne. Originally from Detroit, MI, Lee immediately fell in love with Fort Wayne when he came to open an engineering firm several years ago. Loving Fort Wayne and looking for an outlet for his genius, Lee found himself with down time during a holiday vacation, an insatiable desire to improve mankind, and the idea of combining a jumbo chicken wing and an extra large shrimp. Drawing on his engineering background, Lee created a tool {patent pending} to insert the shrimp into the chicken wing, and the rest is history! The Buffalo Claw\u00c2\u00ae was born, and neither Lee nor mankind has been the same since.<\/p>\n

Jim Sullivan, owner of Fort Wayne’s Laycoff’s Tavern recalls, “Lee came in and gave me a sample of Buffalo Claws\u00c2\u00ae, and they were outstanding.” Ever since then Laycoff’s menu has featured Buffalo Claws\u00c2\u00ae in addition to Columbia Street West, Henry’s Restaurant, Bourbon Street Hideaway Restaurant and Hungry for Home. Now with a total of five local bars and restaurants featuring Buffalo Claws\u00c2\u00ae on their menus, the Fort Wayne public is starting to take notice, with rave reviews and packed launch parties so far.<\/p>\n
