Mad Ants Seek Great Ants Dancers<\/strong>
\nAuditions November 19th<\/em><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

(November 7, 2011) – The Fort Wayne Mad Ants will host auditions for the Great Ants Dance Team on Saturday, November 19th at 2:00pm at the Tiffany and Co. Studio of Dance, 10224 Coldwater Road. The team consists of women or men ages 45 and older who still like to move and groove.<\/p>\n

The Great Ants made their debut during the 2009-10 season and quickly became a crowd favorite. This year’s team will entertain Fort Wayne fans at the Memorial Coliseum during Mad Ants home games and will occasionally make appearances in the community. <\/p>\n

The Great Ants will practice twice a month and will perform once a month throughout the season. <\/p>\n

To become a member of the Great Ants Dance Team, please contact Heidi Busch, (260) 469-4667 x108.<\/p>\n

NBA Development League<\/strong>
\nThe NBA Development League, founded in 2001, is the NBA’s official minor league. Featuring 16 teams with direct affiliations to NBA franchises, the NBA D-League is a proven developer of talent: 23 percent of players in the NBA at the conclusion of the 2010-11 season boasted NBA D-League experience, and the league continues to develop coaches, referees, and front-office staff for the NBA and its teams. In fostering the league’s connection to the community, its teams, players and staff promote health and wellness, support local needs and interests, and assist in educational development through NBA D-League Cares programs. The NBA D-League also advances the game of basketball as the research and development arm of the NBA. Throughout the league’s upcoming 11th season, fans can watch all NBA D-League games on NBA FUTURECAST, the free live Web-streaming initiative found at nba.com\/futurecast<\/span>.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
