The Fort Wayne Police Department is presently investigating a robbery that occurred on September 11, 2011 at approximately 1:04 a.m. at the Shell Gas Station located at 6321 E. State Blvd. A lone male subject reportedly entered the station store and approached the store clerk from behind. At gunpoint, the suspect demanded that the clerk open the register. The suspect then fled the store on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash from the register.<\/p>\n

Investigators have obtained a still image of the suspect from store surveillance and are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect in this investigation. Anyone knowing the identity or whereabouts of this individual is encouraged to contact the Fort Wayne Police Department at 260 427-1222, or Crime Stoppers at 260 436-STOP, 260 436-7867. <\/p>\n
