What’s Happening at Foellinger Theatre August 16 – September 17<\/strong><\/p>\n

Fort Wayne Area Community Band, Tuesday, August 16<\/strong>, 8 pm, FREE
\nThis third concert in the series, a Calliope of Color, will please you with a summer evening of excellent music performed by musicians from Fort Wayne and Northern Indiana.<\/p>\n

Movie: The Sorcerer’s Apprentice, Friday, August 19<\/strong>, 8:30 pm, FREE
\nBalthazar Blake (Nicolas Cage) is a master sorcerer in modern-day Manhattan trying to defend the city from his arch nemesis, Maxim Horvath. Balthazar can’t do it alone, so he recruits Dave Stutler, a seemingly average guy who demonstrates hidden potential, as his reluctant prot\u00c3\u00a9g\u00c3\u00a9. The sorcerer gives his unwilling accomplice a crash course in the art and science of magic, and together these unlikely partners work to stop the forces of darkness. PG. The Lettermen, Saturday, September 17<\/strong>, 8 pm, $15
\nThis trio brings a Vegas-style show to the city, with energy and great vocals! Original founding member Tony Butala is joined by Donovan Tea and Mark Preston, who also joined in 1984. In the 60’s and 70’s, The Lettermen scored over 25 chart hit singles, including “Theme from a Summer Place,” “Goin’ Out of My Head\/Cant’ take My Eyes Off You,” and “Hurt So Bad.” Sponsored by PBS39 and NIPR.<\/p>\n
