Travel with ARCH to Marshall, Michigan<\/strong><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

(March 18, 2011) – Make Mother’s Day weekend special this year by treating yourself or a loved one to a one-day trip to beautiful, historic Marshall, Michigan. Join ARCH on Saturday, May 7, 2011, as we retreat to the historic town of Marshall and discover block-after-block of stunning architecture, fine dining and unique shops. We will offer tours of the following buildings:<\/p>\n

[list type=”black”]
\n[li]The famed Honolulu House Museum, the former residence of Judge Abner Pratt, who built the house in a fine blend of Italianate, Gothic Revival and Polynesian styles in 1860.[\/li]
\n[li]The G.A.R. Hall Civil War Museum, built in 1902 by Civil War Veterans, which currently serves as the archive and Military Museum of the Marshall Historical Society.[\/li]
\n[li]The 1839 Greek Revival Governor’s Mansion that was built in anticipation of Marshall becoming the Michigan state capitol.[\/li]
\n[li]The 1860 Capitol Hill School, a Gothic Revival school house that was built by the citizens of Marshall next to the area intended for the state capitol.[\/li]
\n[\/list]<\/p>\n

Guests will have time in the late afternoon to discover the many wonderful shops, historical structures, and restaurants that Marshall has to offer.<\/p>\n

The Bus leaves at 9am and will return back to Fort Wayne at 8:30pm. Cost is $35 per person and includes all transportation and museum admission fees. Guests are free to dine anywhere they desire for lunch and dinner.<\/p>\n
