Tranquil Touch Raising Money for Clean Local Water<\/strong>
\nHosting Clean Water Fundraising Event April 21, 2011, from 3pm – 8pm<\/em><\/p>\n<\/p>\n
(April 1, 2011) – Tranquil Touch Spa<\/span> is partnering with AVEDA<\/a>, the Hoosier Environmental Council<\/a>, Global Greengrants Fund in Japan<\/a>, and the Alliance for the Great Lakes<\/span> to raise $1,250 for clean water in our local area. The Clean Water Fundraising Event will take place on Earth Day, April 21, 2011 from 3pm – 8pm. Cost for the event is $25, with all proceeds going towards clean local water.<\/p>\n
The event will offer attendees AVEDA product sampling, skin and makeup consultation\/application, chair massage, $10 towards any product purchase, and appetizers from Vince’s. There will also be a raffle with prizes from local businesses and much more! Guests who wish to stop in for appetizers and to look around, but not participate in the skin and make-up applications, can do so with a donation of any amount. The skin and make-up consultation includes a mini facial with an AVEDA Green Science Perfecting Plant Peel (a $25 value) to prepare for make-up application. The Perfecting Plant Peel professional facial masque smoothes and retexturizes skin with the instant exfoliation and radiance benefits of a 30% glycolic peel without the associated redness and irritation. This treatment combines the use of Argan leaf extract and organic Aloe Vera to help eliminate the redness and irritation typically associated with other peel treatments. It can be used on all skin types, warming skin to open pores, and the result is skin that is smoother, retexturized, and refined with more even tone. Pores are also minimized – all without visible signs of redness or irritation.<\/p>\n
In addition to the Fundraising Event, Tranquil Touch Spa will offer add-on spa treatments for the price of $10 during the month of April. Donation for clean water is included in the price. Donations are also accepted without the purchase of product or other spa services all month long.<\/p>\n
