AN AREA OF SNOW&#8230;SLEET&#8230;AND FREEZING RAIN WILL CONTINUE TO OVERSPREAD THE ADVISORY AREA EARLY THIS AFTERNOON. THE PRECIPITATION WILL BE MAINLY SNOW NORTH OF INTERSTATE 80 AND MAINLY FREEZING RAIN SOUTH OF ROUTE 30 THIS AFTERNOON&#8230;WITH A MIX OF FREEZING RAIN&#8230;SLEET&#8230;AND SNOW IN BETWEEN. A CHANGEOVER TO ALL SNOW SHOULD GRADUALLY OCCUR FROM NORTH TO SOUTH ACROSS THE AREA BY THIS EVENING. SNOW ACCUMULATIONS OF 2 TO 4 INCHES ARE EXPECTED NORTH OF ROUTE 30 WITH LESSER AMOUNTS TO THE SOUTH. ICE ACCUMULATION WILL BE NEAR A QUARTER INCH SOUTH OF ROUTE 30. ICE ACCRETION ON ROAD SURFACES WILL CAUSE SLIPPERY CONDITIONS AND HAZARDOUS TRAVEL. THERE WILL ALSO BE ICE ACCUMULATIONS ON TREES AND POWER LINES. STAY TUNED TO LOCAL MEDIA OR NOAA WEATHER RADIO FOR UPDATES.<\/p>\n<p>[&#8230;] &#8230;WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 AM EST \/5 AM CST\/ TUESDAY&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 AM EST \/5 AM CST\/ TUESDAY.<\/p>\n<p>* TIMING&#8230;FREEZING RAIN&#8230;SLEET&#8230;AND SNOW WILL CHANGE TO ALL SNOW THIS AFTERNOON.
