Holcomb announces Indiana GOP Communications Director & Finance Director<\/strong><\/p>\n

(February 11, 2011) – Indiana Republican Party State Chairman Eric Holcomb today announced recent additions to the State Party senior staff. Pete Seat will serve as Communications Director and Sarah Potasnik has been named Finance Director.<\/p>\n
In making the announcement, Chairman Holcomb said, “We have put in place a solid team to represent Hoosier Republicans during a crucial Legislative session and election cycle. Our team will be fully focused on assisting Governor Daniels, Speaker Bosma and President Pro Tempore Long achieve their goals of passing another honestly balanced budget, implementing an automatic taxpayer refund, as well as long overdue government and education reforms.”<\/p>\n
Holcomb added, “With the experience Pete and Sarah bring to our staff I know the Indiana Republican Party will continue to see great success across the state.”<\/p>\n
Pete Seat – Communications Director<\/strong>
\nPete Seat most recently served as Communications Director on the campaign of U.S. Senator Dan Coats. Prior to that he provided political analysis on cable news, was a columnist for The Times of Northwest Indiana and served as Deputy Assistant Press Secretary at The White House. Pete is a native of Schererville, Indiana, and a graduate of the University of Arizona.<\/p>\nSarah Potasnik – Finance Director<\/strong>
\nSarah Potasnik attended Hanover College and graduated with a B.A. in English in 2007, where she currently serves as an Advisor for Kappa Alpha Theta, Nu Chapter. Upon graduating, she worked for the Indiana Chamber of Commerce in several capacities including membership and event planning. She began work for the Indiana Republican Party as the Deputy Finance Director in February of 2010. Sarah is from Fishers, Indiana.<\/p>\nIn January, Chairman Holcomb announced that Justin Garrett would serve as Executive Director. Garrett, Seat and Potasnik join Tracy Smith and Jeff Coats who will continue in their roles as Controller and E-Campaign Director, respectively.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
