Allen County Issues Level 2 Winter Weather Advisory<\/strong><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

(February 1, 2011) – The Allen County Commissioners have issued a Level 2 winter weather advisory for unincorporated portions of Allen County.<\/p>\n

Level 2 means conditions are threatening to the safety of the public. Only essential travel is recommended (i.e. to and from work, emergency situations, etc.). Emergency action plans have been or should be implemented by businesses, schools, government agencies and other organizations.<\/p>\n

The Level 2 advisory was issued after consultations with the Allen County Highway Department and the Allen County Sheriff’s Department. Both departments report increasingly slick conditions on roads throughout the county.<\/p>\n

The Level 2 advisory will remain in effect until further notice.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
