Victims<\/strong>:\t\t\tBoth men remain hospitalized and have been upgraded to fair condition.<\/p>\n

Update\/Details<\/strong>:\u00c2\u00a0Detectives with the Fort Wayne Police Department have identified robbery as the motive in the stabbing incident at 1844 Broadway Street that occurred on Sunday, January 30, 2011.<\/p>\n

Detectives have also identified a suspect in connection with this investigation<\/strong>:<\/p>\n

Suspect<\/strong>:\tDarrell Howard Kindschy Jr<\/p>\n

Description<\/strong>:\tMale, white, age 53, 5’11”, 195 pounds, black hair, and brown eyes<\/p>\n

Kindschy is considered to be armed and dangerous. Anyone with information as to Kindschy’s whereabouts is encouraged to contact the Fort Wayne Police Department at 260 427-1222.<\/p>\n

This incident remains under investigation with the Fort Wayne Police Department, and the Allen County Prosecutor’s Office.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Details<\/strong>:<\/p>\n

Fort Wayne Police are presently investigation a stabbing incident which took place at approximately 4:37 a.m. this morning at an apartment located within 1844 Broadway Street.<\/p>\n

Officers arrived to find two victims inside the apartment both suffering from multiple stab wounds. Each victim was transported to a local hospital where their conditions were reported as critical and serious. Names of the victims are being withheld at this time to allow for next-of-kin notification.<\/p>\n

Preliminary details indicate that there were at least three people in the apartment at the time of the stabbing and that robbery could very well be the motive. Detectives believe a male white adult to be the perpetrator in this stabbing. No further description was available.<\/p>\n

This incident remains under investigation by the Fort Wayne Police Department, the Allen County Prosecutors office, and the Allen County Coroners office.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
