(January 7, 2011) – Balancing the state budget and avoiding job-killing tax hikes will be top priorities for the 2011 legislative session. Given the fragile national economy, legislators will avoid new spending and new taxes on already struggling Hoosiers.<\/p>\n

Talk among constituents clearly indicates lawmakers should also focus on fostering job creation by private employers, improving schools by putting students first and protecting voters by promoting fair redistricting.<\/p>\n
