Republican Eric Doden announced his candidacy for Mayor of the City of Fort Wayne this morning at the Allen County Republican Party Headquarters.<\/p>\n

Eric Doden announces candidacy for Mayor of Fort Wayne<\/strong><\/p>\n

Today, in the heart of the city he loves and has called home for more than a decade, Eric Doden announced his candidacy for Mayor of the City of Fort Wayne.<\/p>\n

As a result of his more than 200-plus conversations with city residents and an intensive evaluation period in partnership with his mayoral exploratory committee over the past few months, Doden knows the time for a new kind of leadership for Fort Wayne has come.<\/p>\n

“Fort Wayne needs the kind of leadership that brings not only ideas on how to transform our city, but a specific plan on how to bring those ideas to life,” he explained. “It’s time to bring about a new generation of innovation and growth here in Fort Wayne. What made our city great before can make it great again – it’s our people who will drive our economic renaissance and rebirth. This is why I launch my campaign now, because I believe Fort Wayne can no longer wait for a mayor who will bring excitement, transparency, innovation and, most importantly, measurable results to our city.”<\/p>\n
