On November 18, 2010, a celebration was held to celebrate the completion of exterior work on the Allen County Courthouse.<\/p>\n

We missed the ceremony, but spoke afterwards with Allen County Commissioner Linda Bloom and Robyn Zimmerman, Executive Director of the Courthouse Preservation Trust about the Courthouse.<\/p>\n

“This project was far more than just cleaning the outside of the building,” said County Commissioner Linda Bloom. “The primary focus – the tuck-pointing, joint rehabilitation and waterproofing from the base of the building all the way to the top of ‘Lady Liberty’ – was designed to protect the structural integrity of the Courthouse so that its magnificent features will be with us for decades to come.”<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
