St. Joe River Level Lowered This Weekend<\/strong>
\nFlashboards Removed<\/em><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

The St. Joe River north of the dam will be lowered this weekend so that crews can remove the flashboards. The annual fall removal will see the river level drop beginning Saturday night October 23, 2010. On Monday October 25, 2010 crews will remove the flashboards at the St. Joe Dam. <\/p>\n

The two foot high flashboards are placed on top of the dam each spring to hold more water back for peak summer usage. Each fall they are removed for the winter season.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
