Council:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><strong>Draft EPA Brownfield&#8217;s Assessment Coalition Grant Application for Public Comment<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>(September 14, 2010) &#8211; Region III-A Development and Regional Planning Commission in partnership with the Northeastern Indiana Regional Coordinating Council (NIRCC) plans to apply to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) on or about October 15, 2010 for a $1 million Brownfield&#8217;s Assessment Coalition grant to fund a\u00c2\u00a0 community-wide assessment of hazardous materials and petroleum sites.\u00c2\u00a0 The project&#8217;s service area will include Adams, Allen (excluding Fort Wayne), LaGrange, Noble, Steuben, Wells, and Whitley (excluding Columbia City) counties in northeast Indiana.\u00c2\u00a0 Region III-A and NIRCC are requesting comments from the public and interested parties on the Draft Application (2009 Application) before October 12, 2010.\u00c2\u00a0 The Draft is available for review at\u00c2\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.nircc.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">www.nircc.com<\/a> and at the NIRCC offices located at One East Main St., City County Bldg., Rm 830,
