Inaugural Doermer Dialogue with Business Leaders Focuses on the Business of Impact of Health Care Reform<\/strong><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

(August 31, 2010) – Indiana University-Purdue University Fort Wayne’s (IPFW’s) Doermer School of Business is hosting its inaugural Doermer Dialogue with Business Leaders, Friday, Sept. 24, from 7:30 to 11 a.m. at The John and Ruth Rhinehart Music Center’s Recital Hall on campus. The keynote speaker, Steven L. Jackson, a partner with the law firm Baker & Daniels, will speak on “The business Impact of Health Care Reform.”<\/p>\n

The dialogue, which is by invitation, is free and begins with registration and a continental breakfast at 7:30 a.m. in the lobby of the Rhinehart Music Center. Welcoming remarks will begin at 8 a.m., followed by Jackson’s speech at 8:15 a.m. After a short break, a panel discussion moderated by Steve Corona, president of JobWorks, will begin at 9:30 a.m. Panelists include Indiana Attorney General Greg Zoeller, Jay Gilbert, president of PHP, Dawn Rudolph, CEO of St. Joseph Hospital, Art DeTore, executive vice president of strategic planning at Parkview Hospital, Stephen Smith, Ph.D., CEO\/GM of Allied Physicians, and Mike Landram, president of the Greater Fort Wayne Chamber of Commerce. A question and answer session from 10:30 to 11 a.m. concludes the dialogue.<\/p>\n
