It also provides access to affordable housing resources, such as HOME funding, reserved for certified nonprofit housing developers.<\/p>\n<p>As part of its certification, Brightpoint Communities received a $50,000 CHDO Operating Supplement from IHCDA to support the staff, systems, and planning needed to expand its affordable housing work and prepare for future projects.<\/p>\n<p>Brightpoint Communities also received a $173,630 award through the federal HOME Investment Partnerships Program to construct a single-family home at 513 N. Oak Street in Columbia City.
