Braun: Applications Open for Indiana&#8217;s Advanced Nuclear Ready Communities Program<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Indianapolis, Indiana (October 6, 2026) \u2014 Indiana Governor Mike Braun recently announced the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.in.gov\/oed\/indianas-energy-policy\/advanced-nuclear-ready\/index\" target=\"_blank\">Indiana Advanced Nuclear Ready Communities program<\/a>, with applications now available online. This is an initiative that supports Hoosier communities seeking designation as sites for nuclear energy-related development. The program is a key component of Indiana\u2019s all-of-the-above energy strategy, designed to attract clean energy investment, drive high-tech innovation, and support affordable, reliable power for Hoosiers.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis program empowers local communities with a strategic road map to clear the way for clean energy investment, which in turn will lead to lower energy costs for Hoosiers and unlock high-paying career opportunities in Indiana\u2019s energy and manufacturing sectors,\u201d said Gov.
