Photo courtesy of the State of Indiana.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Today, Indiana Governor Mike Braun announced the appointment of Brittney Long as Public Access Counselor, effective October 5, 2026.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>News release from Indiana Governor Mike Braun&#8217;s office:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><strong>Governor Braun Appoints Brittney Long Public Access Counselor<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Indianapolis, Indiana (October 2, 2026) \u2013 Indiana Governor Mike Braun today announced the appointment of Brittney Long as Public Access Counselor (PAC), effective Oct. 5, 2026.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBrittney has the legal credentials and passion for public service that makes her an excellent fit for the job,\u201d said Gov. Braun. \u201cAs our next PAC, Brittney will bring added transparency and accountability to our state.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Long is an attorney with over a decade of legal experience, most recently serving as Deputy General Counsel for the Indiana Department of Natural Resources.
