Westbound lanes to close in section of S.R. 930\/Coliseum Blvd. over weekend<\/strong><\/p>\n

Fort Wayne, Indiana (August 21, 2026) \u2013 The Indiana Department of Transportation announces a weekend closure on State Road 930\/Coliseum Boulevard in Fort Wayne as part of ongoing construction.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Starting at 9 p.m. on Friday, August 21, crews will close the westbound lanes of S.R. 930\/Coliseum Boulevard between Lake Avenue and E. Washington Boulevard to complete pipe construction and asphalt patching. The westbound lanes are scheduled to reopen by 6 a.m. on Monday, August 24.<\/p>\n

During the closure, drivers needing to head west on S.R. 930 through this area should seek an alternate route. The eastbound lanes of S.R. 930 will remain open. Access will be maintained to the businesses in this area.<\/p>\n

Drivers should also anticipate traffic pattern changes on the bridge over the Maumee River. Crews will switch traffic from the eastbound side to the westbound side, so construction can be completed on the eastbound lanes of the bridge. The traffic pattern change is expected to be complete by August 24.<\/p>\n

Work on the S.R. 930 roadway improvement project began in mid-March of this year and stretches from I-69 to East Washington Boulevard. Read the original release here<\/a>.<\/p>\n

INDOT encourages drivers to consider safety for all by slowing down, using extra caution and driving distraction-free when travelling in and around all work zones. All work is weather-dependent and schedules are subject to change.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
