Photo from the WANE-15 website.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>The Fort Wayne Police Department is pleased to announce the hiring of Ethan Dahlen as the department\u2019s new strategic communications manager.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Fort Wayne Police Department news release:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Fort Wayne, Indiana (September 1, 2026) \u2013 The Fort Wayne Police Department (FWPD) is pleased to announce the hiring of Ethan Dahlen as the department\u2019s new strategic communications manager.<\/p>\n<p>As the community continues to grow, the department has brought in a communications expert to handle its relationship with the people of Fort Wayne and the city\u2019s media outlets.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cTransparency has become an important part of Law enforcement communication.\u201d said FWPD Director of Strategic Communications Jonathan Cutler. \u201cEthan\u2019s experience in local news media will position him well to share with the community what their Fort Wayne Police Department is doing.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Dahlen brings nearly half a decade of experience as an award-winning journalist at WANE 15.
