Despite the lifesaving efforts of officers and medics, the male was pronounced deceased at the scene.<\/p>\n<p>Due to the circumstances surrounding the death, the Fort Wayne Police Department Homicide Unit, Air Support Unit, and Crime Scene Unit responded to conduct a comprehensive death investigation.<\/p>\n<p>Investigators are currently canvassing the area for surveillance and other video evidence. Anyone who may have information related to this incident is encouraged to contact the Fort Wayne Police Department at (260) 427-1222, call Crime Stoppers at (260) 436-7867, or submit an anonymous tip through the P3 Tips app.<\/p>\n<p>The investigation is being conducted with the assistance of the Allen County Prosecutor&#8217;s Office and the Allen County Coroner&#8217;s Office.<\/p>\n<p>This investigation remains active and ongoing.
