To help students feel comfortable and prepared, Fort Wayne Community Schools will host Transition Day on Thursday, Aug. 6, for kindergarten students, sixth graders and ninth graders. Parents are encouraged to participate.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Transition Day Schedule<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Kindergarten: By appointment<\/li>\n<li>Sixth grade: 8 a.m.-12 p.m.<\/li>\n<li>Ninth grade: 8 a.m.-12 p.m.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>During Transition Day, students will meet teachers and staff, explore their new schools, practice daily routines and become familiar with their schedules and classrooms.
